5 Things I regret from my wedding day, from a photographer.

✨ Not booking a videographer. Granted my budget was tight and I didn't have much wiggle room but I wish I saved and booked a videographer to look at every year and show my kiddos.

✨ Putting MORE thought in booking a photographer. Again my budget was TIGHT and I actually ended up cancelling my original photography contract and booking someone (who I absolutely loved!!) wicked last minute. I don't regret who I booked I just wish I put more thought in the booking process.

✨ Not making a million DIY items. A LOT of things were over seen and not even used/looked at from my guests and that's okay but I spent so much extra money and time on them that felt wasted. Sometimes simple is best.

✨ Getting group photos with all my guests. This was something I never pointed out to my photographer that I wanted and I wish I did because I only had 45 guests. I missed some good opportunities of capturing my husband and I with my aunts/uncles who I don't see often.

✨ Not capturing my formal portraits in the same spot as my ceremony/reception. I was adiment on having them on a lake but didn't take into consideration the lighting/time of day I'd be having them done. Not to mention the amount of time it ate up on the day with the extra travel.
